THIS WEEK Racing is finally back on and all of our horses having had a booster injection last week and then a quiet few days are all back to full work and ready to run. So with a back-log of entries we've had to put off we've got a bumper couple of weeks in store. Finger crossed they all stay healthy, continue to run their races and we have a successful Spring campaign.... ENTRIES KHAGE Khage has been declared to run in the National Hunt Novice hurdle at Fakenham today under a penalty. The track, the trip and the ground should suit him well. It's a tougher assignment than last time with some decent opposition so he will need to show improvement to win it. PARKIN Parkin has been declared to run in the bumper at the end of the same card at Fakenham today. This will be his second appearance on a racecourse having run at Ludlow back in December. He had been showing some ability at home before his debut however for not having had a racecourse gallop he was very green and very much needed the experience. He is a nice little horse with a good attitude who will make into a fun prospect for summer jumping. Hopefully he will come on for the experience and be competitive. BIGMARTRE Bigmartre holds a couple of entries in the next week one of them being tomorrow. At the moment we are leaving our options open. He has unfortunately now missed a number of opportunities due to weather and the recent flu outbreak but he's in great form, he's fresh and well and if he can bounce back he should be in the mix wherever he runs. PERFECT MYTH Perfect Myth is due to head to Huntingdon on Sunday for the 1m7f maiden hurdle. She is an excellent jumper which she showed on her debut when finishing third at Fakenham. Due to the fact that she's had to miss a couple of mares races with the various disruptions recently, she will have to take on the boys here. She's a filly with a great attitude so further experience will do her some good before contesting mares handicaps further down the line. YOUNG BULL Young Bull will head to Carlisle on Monday for his third run in a bumper. He toughed it out to win well at Chepstow last time out so this time he will be carrying a penalty. We have booked Fergus Gregory to take the ride who claims a useful five pounds. He's a quality animal with a bright future over fences eventually so anything he does in bumpers and over hurdles will be a bonus. LANTIERN Lantiern is our second bumper runner on Monday. He will head to Lingfield where he will be contesting his third bumper. Having looked the winner turning in last time out at Southwell, he hung badly up the home straight to find little off the bridle which was very disappointing. He has since been for a wind operation which was evident he clearly needed from an overground scope. He is a very good work horse with a good turn of foot so we think the track will suit him and we look forward to running him. ANEMOI Anemoi is set to run in the Greene King handicap hurdle at Taunton on Tuesday. He is a smart novice who finished third in a listed race at Cheltenham last time out over a trip further than ideal for him. He is dropping back to two miles here, he's in great order and hopefully this can be a nice prep run before bigger things in the Spring. DARA'S PRESENT Dara's Present will also head to Taunton on Tuesday where he will be making his chase debut. He is a very scopey individual who has always looked every inch a chaser. Having been off the track for such a long time we are looking forward to kicking off his chasing career here. SPARKLEANDSHINE Sparkleandshine holds a couple of entries in the coming week. He is a horse with a lot of speed and has schooled very well. He is relatively new to us and we look forward to seeing him make his yard debut. HENRIETTA BELL Henrietta Bell also has a few entries next week. She has been off the track for a while with a small abscess on her shoulder, having finished fourth at Aintree on her debut when last seen. She is a talented young mare and we look forward to getting her back out on the track. COURT LIABILITY Court Liabilty holds an entry at Doncaster next Wednesday. He is an ultra consistent horse whom it was disappointing not to see him continue his winning streak last time out. The ground and trip should suit him well and hopefully he can bounce back. The season plan is to head to Haydock for the series final in April. JAMMY GEORGE Jammy George holds two entries next week. He's in good form and we think the step up to three miles will really suit him so we are looking forward to running him over the extended trip.
