AN AIR OF ANTICIPATION…

THIS WEEK It's another quiet week with little news from the track but we're pleased to say that the winter string are really starting to come into their own here at Hill Barn.  Affaire d'honneur, Pink Play and Ahraam did a piece of work (pictured below) on Wednesday with jockeys Gavin Sheehan, James Nixon and Harry Teal on board confirming to us all that they are spot on for their runs coming up.  With the weather now just about starting to turn there is an air of anticipation about the place so we can't wait to get going... ENTRIES Ahraam holds entries at three different tracks in the coming week, with Kempton on Wednesday looking the most likely target at the moment. His 3rd at Wolverhampton last time out was his best effort to date and we're hopeful there is more to come from him. There is a lack of 10f races for him at the moment so we'll be dropping back in trip which shouldn't be a problem, especially as we are switching to a more galloping track. Everyone at the yard is very fond of this horse as he has such a great attitude, so it would be great to get his head in front. With our first string of runners for the new season aiming to be around the last week in September there is always plenty of opportunities both before and after then for owners to come and visit us at the yard and see their horses. We have very much an open door policy here and we're always delighted to see you to walk you around the facilities as well as talking you through the horses.
