TheMightyPolstar was again victorious with the 4th hurdles win of his career!! A 3lb lower mark, as well as a drop back in trip to 2 miles left us very hopeful indeed of a big run. Especially with a very hungry Paul back in the saddle!! Yul Finegold led in the very early stages however a hard pulling Wistari Rocks took on the leader and the pace started to increase! As the pace got too strong Paul sensibly dropped out towards the rear, always mindful of giving him plenty of room which is so key to this horse! Swinging for home many of the field were under pressure, but the Mighty Polstar cruised up to head the field coming to the 2nd last. He got a bit tight to the last but quickened up smartly to win by an impressive 6 lengths. This was arguably Polstars most impressive win and it was great to see Paul back in the saddle riding with so much confidence. Fingers crossed the handicapper isn't to harsh, we will see how he comes out of the race over the coming weeks before making the next plan!.
