LAST WEEK The activity up at the yard has continued to rev up as we continue with our pre-season preparations. With 10 more of the winter horses returning back in to work today the numbers are really starting to increase as we gradually build up their fitness... Although National Hunt racing goes on a 10-day break from today, we are off to the sales at Doncaster on Wednesday. There is upwards of 350 lots which we have worked through and narrowed down to a shortlist. Hopefully we can come home with another nice horse or two. ENTRIES Ahraam is entered at Nottingham tomorrow and Brighton on Wednesday and Friday. He ran well on his yard debut at Nottingham over a mile, missing the break slightly before running on well for 6^th. He steps up in trip this week and we are hopeful he can take another step in the right direction and be competitive over 10f. NEW RECRUIT Our latest recruit is a 3yo son of Street Cry called Ikraamm. He is out of a listing winning mare, from the family of Melbourne Cup winner Fiorente and goes straight into training with the intention starting him off in a bumper in the autumn. He is a very strong good moving horse and another great addition to the expanding team. Until next week...
