NEWS ON CHELTENHAM RUNNERS

THIS WEEK Cheltenham is looming and racehorses across the land are being prepared for the biggest stage in the National Hunt calendar.  Although at HWR our horses are becoming fresher by the day and we're coming through the other side of this viral challenge, it has unfortunately effected the preparation of our flag bearing horse, Emerging Force, who will no longer be taking his chance at the Festival this year. For further details and how we came to this decision please view the article via the link below.  On a more positive note, this will mean that we can therefore get him absolutely spot on for Aintree along with a couple of other irons in the fire... https://beta.racingpost.com/news/cheltenham-festival/emerging-force-to-miss-out-with-aintree-on-agenda/276625 Bigmartre is very much likely to be one of our first runners back next Saturday amongst a couple of others over the same weekend.  As mentioned in the article (above) Bigmartre holds an entry in the Martin Pipe but is more likely to head for the Imperial Cup next Saturday first.  And with a £50k bonus back in place this year for the race winner to go and win again at the Festival, the option would be therefore to take his chance at the festival if we were to be successful next Saturday.
