BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND
26-08-2016
THIS WEEK Despite very little news to report on the track this week we're delighted to say each of the winter horses are beginning to look really fantastic and are working well at home. The first group which came out of the field are now roughly a month of a run with a few races pencilled in for the end of September, so we can't wait to get them out there... REPORTS Ahraam improved again to finish 3rd at Wolverhampton on Friday. He broke well from a wide draw and took up a handy position under jockey Jack Mitchell. He travelled well through the contest and when they got racing turning for home he got caught slightly wide, but he stayed on well to grab 3rd in the dying strides. It was a very competitive 0-60 and the 2 horses that finished ahead of him were definitely ahead of the handicapper. He is more than capable of winning on the flat off his current mark, although he will likely be seen in a juvenile hurdle next time out. We have no entries for the coming week but we hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend wherever you are spending it. Until next week...
